We make use of traditional weaving techniques that help preserve our local arts and crafts.   At the same time, supplementing the livelihood of local craftsmen and women in the Philippines.

Because our design and production can be found in the same space, each product is designed and constructed in a way that reduces the amount of wastage and maximizes the aesthetic & functional potential of each material. If there are scraps of material left after production, we use these in future production as accents or to make smaller goods such as coin purses.

Sustainability in our company is continuous learning and improvement, as we learn more about how we can reduce our carbon footprint, our policies adapt as well. We love working with companies who understand slow fashion and sustainable fashion and we are open to an exchange of ideas from you to make business more sustainable. We’d love to hear what you think.

We source our fibers and materials from farmers and cooperatives.

We work with micro businesses or individual artisans which economically stimulates neighborhoods and provides jobs for marginalized women.

Larone uses 100% natural plant fibers in our handbag and home decor collection.  These fibers are biodegradable and sourced locally, greatly reducing our carbon footprint.   We aim to make unique products which are not mass produced, in as eco-friendly way as possible.   All materials are woven by hand thereby curtailing energy consumption.  By-products of harvesting our fibers are used as a natural fertilizer.

What’s in the heart of our fashion?
